How do I cancel an order?
Cancel an existing order
- Via Disposal > Location overview, you can access the location overview, where you can search for specific locations (e.g. branches) and view the associated containers.
- Enter the location where you want to cancel an order in the search bar. You can search for various location data here, e.g. location title or number.
- The overview of the location you are looking for will open. If you have several directions to the location, you can switch between them using the tabs. If the list of locations is longer, navigate the tabs to the left and right using the arrow buttons displayed.
- In the list, select the container for which you want to cancel an order.
- Cancel the order by clicking on the red X icon in the “Actions” column. The cancelation window opens.
- Select a reason for the cancellation from the drop-down menu and, if necessary, describe the reason in more detail in the field below.
- Confirm the cancellation by clicking on Ok.
💡Note: Canceling an order is only possible as long as it still has the status “Ordered”. If an order that is no longer in this status is to be canceled, the order must first be manually reset to this status via the detailed view and saved. You can also recognize this by the fact that the X icon is not colored red. How you can manually change the status of an order is described in the next section.
