What is the Cost Report
As an admin, you have the option to create a cost report and download it for further analysis. This guide explains what the cost report is, what information it provides, and the actions you can take.
What is the Cost Report?
The report shows gross costs and gross revenues by material, pickup point, and billing unit. The cost report allows you to answer various questions by correctly filtering and grouping the data. Once the report is created, it can be downloaded directly to your device in Excel format for further analysis.
How are the quantities in the cost report calculated?
The cost report is based on the data stored in the software. Costs for the calculation are pulled from the invoice line items.
💡 Note: Only orders with prices entered and with at least the status “Reviewed” are included in the calculation.
What information can be viewed, and what actions can be performed?
The analysis view consists of two tabs:
- Overview
- Annual Overview
1. Overview
The "Overview" tab displays an interactive table with various information and actions. The table includes the following default data columns:
- Location
- Pickup Point
- Material
- AVV
- Hazardous Waste
- Type
- Quantity
- Unit
- Costs
- Revenues
- Total
Additional columns can be added manually via the column menu. Learn how to do this here.
To sort the table by a specific column, simply click on the column header.
To download the table as an Excel file directly to your device, click the download button above the table.
💡 Note: The file is not saved in Administration > Excel Export.

2. Annual Overview
The "Annual Overview" tab displays a report showing total costs for all materials within a year.
The report is presented as both a graph and a table, which can be downloaded as an Excel file. Click the download button above the table.
💡 Note: The file is not saved in Administration > Excel Export.
The report can be filtered by:
- Year
- Order Status
- Location (one or multiple locations selectable)
- Material (one or multiple material types selectable)
- Cost Type
