What is an article?
An article is a standardized template for a container. When you create a new container, the attributes stored in the article, such as waste fraction, container type, and container size, are automatically applied and do not need to be entered manually each time.
An article therefore represents a combination of waste type and container type. This concept is essential to enable the disposal of different waste fractions in various containers.
Each specific combination of waste type and container (i.e., an article) exists only once. When multiple waste types are disposed of in the same container, it is referred to as a "collection article."
Articles can be created and managed by admins in the Administration > Articles menu.
💡Note: Articles must start with the letter "A." A popular naming convention for articles is a combination of the AVV code and the container designation/size.
Example: A150102ABS10
A – for Article150102 – for the AVV code
ABS – for skip container
10 – container size of 10m³
