What are Sub-locations?
Sub-locations refer to the areas where the service provider picks up waste from your site. These could include locations such as goods receiving, recycling centers, or assembly areas.
A site can have any number of sub-locations. Sub-locations must be defined in the software, as each container is always assigned to a specific sub-location at a site.
💡Note: Sub-locations will only appear in the site overview once at least one container has been assigned to them.
Adding a Sub-location
- Navigate to Administration > Sub-locations to access the overview of your sub-locations.
- To add a new sub-location, click the Add sub-location button.
- A new page will open. Scroll through the form and enter all relevant information.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page to confirm your entries.
- The sub-location is now stored in the software and will appear in the overview. Once at least one container has been assigned to the sub-location in the container management, it will also appear as an additional tab in the site overview.
💡Note: Containers must always be assigned to a specific sub-location at a site. Therefore, it is essential to define at least one sub-location per site in the software.
