What are index prices?

As an Admin you can create and edit index prices for containers. Index prices in waste management are based on various factors resulting from supply and demand, legal framework conditions, recycling and disposal costs as well as market conditions.

Index prices can change on a monthly basis. These changes must be added manually in the system under Administration->Index prices.

💡Note: Only the index prices stored under Administration > Index prices can be assigned to containers in Disposal > Container management.

Add a new index price

 

1. via Administration > Index prices you can access the overview of all index prices already created in the software.
2. to add a new index price, click on Add new index price.
3. the created index price can now be stored in the "Contract prices" area in the container details.

Add an index value:

 

If you want to add a new value to an index price that has already been created, proceed as follows:

  1. Search the list for an existing index price to which you would like to add a value. For example, for a new month.
  2. Click on Add value in the corresponding line and a new form will open.
  3. Enter the relevant information.
  4. Click on Check price.
  5. Complete the process by clicking on Save price.

 

Correcting an index price:

 

  1. Administration > Index prices takes you to the overview of all index prices created in the software.
  2. If you want to correct the value of a stored index price, search for the price you want to change in the list. Tip: If the list of prices is very long, use the search bar.
  3. Click on Details in the corresponding line and the detailed view of the index price will open.
  4. Click on the pencil icon behind the value you want to change.
  5. Enter the changes in the correction form.
  6. Click on Check price.
  7. Complete the process by clicking on Save price.

 

💡Note: Index prices stored in the software cannot be deleted. Please contact our support team for this.
