How to manage Locations?

As an admin, you can create, edit, and delete locations in the software. In this article, we will explain how it works.

 

💡Note: Containers must always be assigned to a specific location. Therefore, it is important that at least one location is stored in the software.

 

Adding a new Location

  1. Navigate to Administration > Locations to access the overview where all locations already created in the software are listed.
  2. To add a new location, click on Add Location.
  3. A form will open where you can enter all the details for the new location. Scroll through the form and fill in all relevant information.
  4. Click Save at the bottom of the form to confirm your entries.
  5. The location is now stored in the software and appears in the overview.#

 

💡Important: Don’t forget to assign access rights for the new location to the users so they can view and, if necessary, perform actions at this location.

 

Editing a Location

  1. Navigate to Administration > Locations to access the overview where all locations already created in the software are listed.
  2. Select the location you wish to edit from the overview and click on Details.
  3. A summary with all information about the location will be displayed. Click on Edit.
  4. A form will open where you can add or modify the information.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the form to confirm your entries.

You have now successfully edited a location stored in the software.



💡Note: To temporarily or permanently close a location, adjust the validity period in the location details accordingly.
