How do I store a default weight in the software?

In order to store a default weight in the software, it is first necessary to define an article that represents the combination of container type and waste type and thus reflects the unit to be collected.


In Administration->Article there is an item called “Default weight per container”

The “Edit” button takes you to the view where you can enter data. In our example, we enter the value 750 tons as the default weight.


If a default weight is stored in the item, the service provider does not have the option to report a weight. The option is not available in the confirmation email.

 

As soon as the service provider provides feedback, the software sets the default weight:

 

Note 💡: It is important to note that standard weights may vary depending on region, waste type and seasonal fluctuations. Therefore, regularly updated data should be used to ensure the accuracy of waste management. Considering standard weights helps to optimize costs and promote sustainable practices.
