How do I order a container via container management?
You can generate a new order for a specific container not only through the location overview but also via the detailed view of the container in the container management section. In this article, we will explain how it works.
Tip: Alternatively, you can also trigger a new order through the action buttons of the respective container in the location overview. More information on this can be found here.
Placing an Order for a Container
- Navigate to Disposal > Container Management to access the overview where all containers already created in the software are listed.
- Select the container for which you want to generate a new order from the list. Tip: Use the various search fields and filters for this purpose.
- Once you have found the relevant container, click on Details in the respective row. The detailed view of the container will open.
- To generate a new order for the container, click on Order > New Order. The order window will open.
- Select the date on which the order should be executed in the form.
Important: If it is an interval container, please ensure that the date you select corresponds to the next scheduled disposal date. The waste disposal service will not accept a different date.
- If multiple containers of this type are present at the location, specify the number of emptyings you wish to order. Note: If you want to order more emptyings than the maximum selectable amount, please use the ‘additional information’ field to specify, for example, the number of bags.
- Optional: Enter additional information into the form, such as the desired execution time, additional notes for the waste disposal service, and/or attach documents or photos to the order by clicking on Select File.
- Complete the process by clicking Send Order.
- The order will be sent to the waste disposal service.
You have successfully placed an order for the container.
Tip: In the detailed view of a container, the two most recent orders are always displayed in the ‘Current Orders’ tile. By clicking on All Orders, you can also view all orders assigned to the container.
