How can I create rental orders?

You can create rental prices for containers manually in the software. When rental price orders are created, so-called “shadow orders” are created in the software, which are linked to the rental prices. This creates billing items that you can then check against your invoice during invoice verification. You must/should/could create rental price orders once a month. In this article, we explain how to do this.

Create rental price orders

 

1. Via Disposal > Container management, you can access the overview in which all containers already created in the software are listed.


2. Click on + Filter and select the option “Container has rental prices”. A new line with the filter function “Container has rental prices” appears.


3. Select “Yes” for this filter option.


4. Important: Select the time filter “Validity time” and in the “Date” field always select the first of the corresponding month for which you want to generate the rental prices (e.g. 01.06.2024). All containers for which a rental price is stored are displayed in the list.


5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Create rental price orders”. A new window opens.


6. Confirm the process with another click on “Create rental price orders”. A small info message indicates that the rental price orders have been created.

 

💡Note: To check the creation of the rental price orders, go to Disposal > Order management. Once the rental price orders have been created, they are displayed in the list as new orders with the status “Checked”. Clicking on Details takes you to the detailed view of the respective order. In the “Billing” tab, you can view the details of the order item as usual. You can prepare the invoice in the same way as for a normal order.
